Join us for readings by James Bartleman, Johanna Skibsrud and Jane Urquhart, followed by a Q & A period and book signing. Host: TVO Parents’ Cheryl Jackson

James Bartleman (Canada) became the first Native Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario in 2002 after a distinguished career of more than 35 years in the Canadian foreign service. The author of the prize-winning memoir Out of Muskoka, Bartleman presents As Long as the Rivers Flow.

Johanna Skibsrud (Canada) won the 2010 Scotiabank Giller Prize for her first novel, The Sentimentalists. Skibsrud presents This Will Be Difficult to Explain and Other Stories.

Jane Urquhart (Canada) is the internationally acclaimed author of three previous novels, a collection of short fiction, three books of poetry and a short biography of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Urquhart will read from her novel, The Underpainter, which is set in Thunder Bay.
