Tom Perrotta (USA) is the author of six works of fiction, including The Wishbones, The Abstinence Teacher and Joe College. His novels Election and Little Children were made into acclaimed and award-winning movies. Perrotta presents The Leftovers, a story following the citizens of the suburban community of Mapleton, which has just lost over a hundred people in what is being called the Sudden Departure – a Rapture-esque event.
