Polly Horvath (Canada/USA) grew up in Michigan and attended the Canadian College of Dance in Toronto where she studied with the Royal Academy of Dance. After graduation, she lived in New York City and Montreal before settling in British Columbia. She has written many books for children , which have won several awards, including the Vicky Metcalf Award for Children’s Literature for her body of work. Horvath’s Northward to the Moon – the sequel to My One Hundred Adventures – follows Jane and her family as they make an adventure-filled move from Saskatchewan to Massachusetts.
