Paul Yee (Canada) is a third-generation Chinese-Canadian who was born in Spalding, Saskatchewan and grew up in Vancouver’s Chinatown. He has published many books on his experiences of the Chinese in Canada and has won numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Literary Award for Ghost Train. Set in San Francisco’s Chinatown, Yee presents The Secret Keepers, the story of a young man coping with the ghost of his brother who died in an earthquake.
