Join us for a reading and interview with Helen Humphreys and Madeleine Thien moderated by Susan Swan. The event will be followed by a Q & A period and a book signing.

Helen Humphreys presents her latest novel, The Reinvention of Love, the fascinating story of a doomed love affair between Victor Hugo’s wife and his friend, the writer Charles Sainte-Beuve.

Set in both Montreal and Cambodia, Madeleine Thien’s latest, Dogs at the Perimeter, is a beautifully realized and deeply affecting novel about the multiple lives we carry within ourselves.
