This event is presented in partnership with Authors at Harbourfront Centre, A Different Drummer Books, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Bryan Prince Bookseller and IFOA Ontario.

This event also marks the first year that IFOA Ontario is working in partnership with the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize. This special evening will feature readings by the authors who will be shortlisted for the prize. The 2011 finalists include Clark Blaise, Michael Christie, Patrick deWitt, Esi Edguyan and Dan Vyleta. Unfortunately, Esi Edguyan will not be participating, but award-winning author of The Book of Negroes, Lawrence Hill, will be reading on her behalf.
